Catholics on Campus
† Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
† Sunday Student Mass
Looking for a welcoming Sunday parish community? You're invited to Sunday Student Mass each week at 4:00 PM at Holy Cross Catholic Parish - 4049 Gordon Head Road, right near UVic (see map on right). Students serve at this Mass as readers, ushers, and musicians. Meet Fr. Dean, your Catholic campus chaplain, after Mass. Everyone is welcome, especially newcomers! Come check it out and after Mass head over to the parish hall for Soup and Soul.
† 'Soup and Soul'
Pop over to the church hall after 4pm Mass (or just show up at 5pm!) for a social and free meal with your fellow students and community members. This casual evening will feature guest speakers on faith-related topics, and some time to hang out and relax before the next busy week of classes. This is a very popular place to be on Sundays, and a great way to wrap up a weekend.
† Daily Mass on Campus
Join other university students, staff, and faculty at daily Catholic Mass on the UVic campus. 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday to Thursday, at UVic's Interfaith Chapel, located next to the Fine Arts Building parking lot and Finnerty Gardens (see map below). Meet Fr. Dean Henderson, your Catholic campus chaplain, after Mass. Everyone is welcome!
Mondays after daily Mass at UVic's Interfaith Chapel from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Benediction at 3:00 PM. Adoration consists of praying in the presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. Learn more HERE.
† Religious Study
Wednesdays from 12:20 PM - 1:20 PM at UVic's Interfaith Chapel with Fr. Dean. For those new to or interested in joining the Catholic Church.
Catholic Christian Outreach is leading faith studies on campus this year. For more information, contact Chantal at [email protected].
